Formed in 2003 as a trio Offramp has developed
into
a
contemporary jazz quintet. Not easily categorized in terms of style, this
group plays original material, which draws influence from bands such as
Pat Metheny Group, Weather Report, Bruce Hornsby, and Wayne Shorter.
Offramp strives to deliver a performance that is something special, and one
that moves away from serving the usual jazz portions of "just another
realbook gig". This mandate gives the band an opportunity to explore
original compositions, which is paramount. The
musicians
all live in the south Okanagan and are
involved in many
